Such a beautiful place, the raspberry cake was fantastic and the staff was incredibly welcoming and calming! Such an amazing place to have a family get together or baby shower. I think everything is perfectly priced too, it doesn't cost to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere for small things like bdays and baby showers and the food and cake are all worth the money, the waiter Sophie was so accommodating and knew the perfect timings to check up and help us with stuff, I really liked her energy and I love the place as a wholes energy. So calming. So peaceful. So pleasant. Thank you for the best baby shower ever. 💙
Such an adorable small little tea room. The rooms are so beautiful. So much to look at and very girly. It felt very much like cake bake but more rustic interior decor! Food was really good esp the potato soup!!! The tea was nice. I dont drink tea often but it was worth trying. All the plates were beautiful! Def recommend for a party!
Celebrated Valentines day a day early with some friends and had a wonderful day. Food was so good. I had the chicken salad and it was delish! We all did the Petite Tea for $22 you get a salad or soup, sandwich, tea and a scone and 3 other sweet treats all presented on a tower. It was beautiful. The atmosphere was great and afterward we had little time to shop!
Wonderful experience with my daughter and parents today. Made a reservation, was seated upon arrival. Waitress was very helpful- bringing samples of the soups so we could decide which we wanted. Excellent service, delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere. A surprising gem in Beech Grove!
We went with my husband’s family for birthdays! Very good service and nice selections for lunch! I had 1/2 a spicy chicken on a croissant and their very good potato soup. There were 5 of us and everyone was pleased with their selection. Three of us ordered their specialty hot teas served in their own beautiful teapots. Accompanied with a very pretty porcelain cup and saucer. I had the ice tea which was also very good. A nice surprise at the end was a special cupcake with a candle for each of us with a birthday and singing too from our staff. So nice!! When you are done with your dining experience there is a lovely gift shop with lots of fun things to see. The entire place was decorated for Christmas which was also fun to look at. There is also a bakery on the premises with beautiful looking cakes for sale. That will definitely be something I’d like to try on my next visit. I highly recommend this restaurant and the friendly staff and good food. Thank you for a lovely experience and I am definitely looking forward to coming back!! 👍😊😊
We had a lovely time at our tea party of three generations, including five year olds, 21 year olds, and let’s just say….older. We ordered the princess tea for the Littles, which came Complete with sparkling pink juice, tiaras, butterfly sandwiches, fruit and cute desserts. The rest of us enjoyed tea, scones, clotted cream, and soup, sandwiches, salad and even brunch French toast. We sat in the gazebo VIP seating I. The middle of the store. It was lovely, although not private. There were other rooms that were more private. We all had a great time, and the service, food and experience were amazing.
We do an annual tea party for my daughters' birthdays. We normally go to Cake Bake, but decided to try Rustic Root this year. SO happy with the venue change. It's adorable and clean inside, service was great, food was delicious, and price was reasonable. They had a great tea selection and it was served in the cutest tea sets. We will definitely be back for our annual party!
The best chicken salad and potato soup I've ever had. The staff is incredibly kind and went out of their way for my young daughter. The prices are also wildly low for what you get. With more time available, it would have been easy to buy several unique and adorable items from the gift shop.
This is one of my favorite tea places. I love that they have a seasonal menu so you can find something different. The teas are rich in flavor, and the desserts and drinks are so good. The decor is pretty cute, and they have a gift shop as well. I always try to make reservations, but they do take walk-ins.
We went to rustic root on a spontaneous whim for a pre Christmas celebration with a dear friend and her 4 year old daughter…Santa showed up and made our day!! It was the first time she had ever seen Santa live and it lit up an already beautiful room. The decorations were amazing, the food was delicious, and the store within the restaurant was fabulous but it was the server, Gabby, that made this entire experience for us!! She shared her scrumptious baked goods and her bright personality and it absolutely brought joy to our experience!! We were so pleased and excited that we shared a few tears while we developed this magical relationship during the holidays!! I am forever grateful for that snowy morning when everything was getting cancelled that we showed up to this enchanted place on Main Street in Beech Grove! 10/10 would recommend!! And definitely get a pot of tea…it’s so worth the experience and the vibe!!
